Overview

You can request deletion of your personal data held by AI Campus at any time. This page explains who can make a request, how to submit one, what actually gets removed, and what we're required to keep for a limited time regardless of a deletion request.

Who can request deletion

• School admins can request deletion of the school's entire account, or of individual staff/student records, once a person has left the school.
• Teachers and staff can request deletion of their own account data directly, subject to their school's record-keeping policy.
• Parents/guardians can request deletion of their child's data on the child's behalf — these requests are routed through the school, since the school is the record holder for enrolled students.
• Students age 18 or older can request deletion of their own account directly.

How to request deletion

• The fastest path is through your school's administrator, who can submit a deletion request for any account in their school directly from the admin dashboard.
• You can also use the website enquiry form and select “Data deletion”, or email privacy@aicampus.school. Include your name, school, role, and the account you'd like deleted. We verify the request with your school before acting on it.
• We may ask for identity verification before deleting an account, to prevent someone else from deleting your data on your behalf.

What gets deleted

Once a deletion request is confirmed, we remove:

• Account credentials and profile information
• Messages sent or received through the platform
• AI-generated content tied to that account (drafts, study plans, generated feedback)
• Usage and login history associated with the account

What we may keep, and why

Data type	Why it's retained
Academic transcripts & grade history	Required by school record-keeping law, even after account deletion
Billing & payment records	Financial record-keeping requirements (typically 7 years)
Security & audit logs	Fraud prevention and platform security, kept up to 12 months

Where we retain data for these reasons, it is restricted from normal use and kept only for the legally required period.

Timeline

We confirm receipt of a deletion request within 3 business days, and complete deletion — apart from the legally required exceptions above — within 30 days. You'll receive a confirmation once it's done.
