Parents do not need to become data analysts to support their children. They need a clear answer to three questions: what changed, does it require attention, and what can we do next?
A weekly summary can combine attendance, recent work and teacher context in plain language. That is more useful than five separate notifications or a dashboard full of unexplained percentages.
Good communication also knows when to stay quiet. Routine progress belongs in a summary; urgent changes deserve a direct message. The system should protect attention as carefully as it protects data.
